America Has A Problem
It’s a gun problem
To the victims whose innocent lives have been taken away
To the children who went to school thinking it was going to be a normal day
Your school should have been a place for you to learn and play
Your precious lives should have never ended that way
To the heroic teachers who tried to keep the shooter away
To the parents who grieve their children every day
America cannot continue on this way
Gun laws have to change and the violence needs to stop today
So for those 20 children and 6 adults who were shot in Sandy Hook School
For those 19 children and 3 adults murdered in Uvalde Elementary school
For those 17 killed and 17 injured in Parkland High School
And for the 10 killed and 14 injured in Santa Fe High School
America failed you that day
You are in our prayers every day and will never be ignored
We pray guns will be banned and peace will finally be restored
Classrooms are a place for books, textbooks, computers and learning.
A classroom should never see AR-15s, AK-47S, pistols, assault rifles, blood or mass murder.
Children are our future, not guns.
